A drunken watermelon is what happens when you add the contents of a bottle of vodka to a whole watermelon. The flesh of the melon absorbs the liquor which means that when you eat a slice, it’s like drinking a cocktail. And what could be better than eating watermelon while simultaneously having a drink?
1 small seedless watermelon
750ml bottle chilled vodka
Soda water or lemonade, to serve
Lemon slices, to garnish

Strawberry Caipirissima Cocktail
This cocktail is so fruity and tasty that it’ll make you think you’re not drinking alcohol – you’ve been warned! Taste our Strawberry Caipirissima Cocktail.
25 ml light rum
25 ml strawberry liqueur
1/2 a lime
Step 1: Prepare your cocktail
Remove the hulls from 3 of the strawberries and place them in the old fashioned glass. Cut the half lime into wedges and then into half again. Put all the wedges in the glass with the strawberries.
Use a muddle stick or a fork if you don’t have one, to crush the ingredients together. Add the crushed ice – enough to fill your glass, then the rum and strawberry liqueur and stir well.
Step 2: Present your cocktail
Use your remaining strawberry for decoration. Simply slice a groove in it and pop it on the side of your glass. Drink up and enjoy!
